In May of 2001, Sling Stone Productions traveled to Uganda to document an amazing story of transformation.

Raised in a extremely poor area of Uganda, Makhoha Margaret was given opportunities many of her friends did not have. It was because of Compassion International.

She eventually graduated the Child Sponsorship program and went on to attend Makerere University.

After university Margaret worked for Compassion Uganda for a few years. She eventually decided to help her people in an other way. She joined politics.

On May 17th, 2011 she was sworn in as a Woman Member of Parliament of her home district.
